Is there anyway to set a higher resolution for the FaceAPI? My webcam can do 90fps@720p and 60fps@1080p but it limits sub-HD resolutions to 30 fps for some reason.

I have a Logitech Brio. Using it for face tracking is not the primary purpose for it but I was hoping I could so I wouldn't have to plug in yet another usb device and I could also ditch my TrackIR. I guess Logitech never envisioned a scenrio where anyone would be using a 4k capable camera at sub-HD resolution w/ high fps. I also submitted a question about this to Logitech's tech support to determine if its a simple software limitation in the driver or a hardware issue.

Hi,
No: faceAPI needs specific resolutions to be able to recognize your face. Unfortunately faceAPI itself cannot be upgraded.
Some webcams (like the PS3Eye) can be used at higher frame-rates, depending on the driver. What kind of webcam do you have?
