I purchased facetracknoir and I am trying to run it with an Aukey PC-LM1E webcam usign faceAPI V3.2.6,
but i can't get it to work.
Does anyone know if this webcam is compatible?

    Hello Ibai,

Does the webcam utility of FaceTrackNoIR show video? You may want to install the new faceAPI tracker plugin, from the files section.

      Hello Wim,

The webcam utility shows video without problem. I have installed "SetupFaceTrackNoIR_v203_2_faceAPI.exe" and the result is still the same.

I don't know if that's what you mean.

I'm trying to run "FTNoIR_FaceAPI_EXE.exe" manually as administrator, a console opens and closes instantly indicating: API error code -13. At the same time the LED that indicates that the webcam is activated, instantly turns on and off.

    Thanks for your answer.

    Hello Ibai,

The '-13' usually indicates a problem, which: In most cases this is caused by other software using the webcam (like webcam utility software) or by a faulty codec. You can try utilities like Codec Tweak Tool to fix or remove broken codecs from you PC

Hi Wim, I just got the link and ran the install. I have the same webcam the Aukey LM1. when I run the manual command for FaceAPI I get an Error Code -9.
As far as I know I'm on the latest version. The app says v202 build #0011.
I'm not sure what to do with the codec tweak tool - too many options!
    Any clues?

Ok I've answered my own question. This was a Windows 10 permissions issue. Go to control panel and under privacy, you need to allow other programs to access the camera.
