Hi guys, I just got facetracknoir and I got it working initially but after playing with the setting for several mins, the feed from the camera changed and it was no longer tracking, instead it gave me a very dark image of my face and it had a watermark that says for non commerical use only. Does anyone know how to fix this? Im not very tech savvy so sorry if the lack of details.
The watermark text actually reads "non-commercial use". However, the widget is too narrow, so the text does not fit. Anyway, this is normal for the faceAPI tracker.
Your image is very dark indeed and that keeps faceAPI from finding your face. Can you add some more light to the room, to see if that helps? A light-source "above your monitor" which indirectly shines on your face gives the best results.
You can also change the webcam settings, to get a better image. BTW. the next version of FaceTrackNoIR will have a built-in webcam utility, which you can use for that...
