Hi, So i just purchased facetracknoir and i have not been able to set it with my ps3 eye cam. When I click start nothing happens. I have installed the core program as well as the plugin pack. when i try to manually open FTNoIR_FaceAPI_EXE.exe it just closes by itself within a second. I do have the recommended drivers for the camera and it does appear in the camera utility as well as the cl eye test. Any help would be great!

You can try to run FTNoIR_FaceAPI_EXE.exe manually (from the faceAPI folder) to see what error code the program returns. Most of the times, fixing the codecs (with a tool like Codec Tweak Tool) will suffice.

I've purchased the FaceTrack and get the alike issue. Can you help me.
I have Win7x64 machine, some generic webcam (used another one with the same result). I've installed both of the "facetracknoir_v200.exe" and "SetupFaceTrackNoIR_v204a_PluginPack.exe".
When I start FaceTrack software (no matter just clicking or Run As Administrator), it stars and allows me to choose things from the lists just as you can see here https://i.ibb.co/JpxJf2T/Face-Track1.jpg
As you can see, tracking is not active. When I click settings under faceAPI line, I get "Terminated" under the "Engine State" https://i.ibb.co/wcVr4wX/Face-Track2.jpg
If I click Camera Settings, it shows me webcam utility, which starts and works just fine: I have a clear picture from my webcam. But FaceAPI shows "Terminated" the same way. When I close the webcam utility, my webcam light diode shuts down, informing me, that webcam is no longer used.
If I start "FTNoIR_FaceAPI_EXE.exe", when FaceTrack is active it shows this picture, when those Command 0 is rapidly adding lines, after few moments it just exits https://i.ibb.co/3MNQRz8/Face-Track3.jpg
It doesn't light up the diode on the camera, so it doesn't "power" it up
If I start FaceAPI without FaceTrack started, it starts showing me FaceAPI_Tracker window with nice BW webcam picture.
It seems there is no communication between FaceTrack and FaceAPI with some reason Facetrack cannot start or communicate with it in any way.
What should I do to get it working

Me to ask, me to answer )) I didn't find a magic "Start" button ) Found it by adding "Autostart tracking" in the Options menu, then everything started working fine, and only after that I've found Start and Stop buttons ))
One thing to mention: found curve graphs very hard to use since there is no way (or at least I didnt fine any) to zoom the curve window to large scale, so finetuning points could be way more easely done - in the near center it is hard to move it just a bit

The PS3Eye should work fine with faceAPI, but sometimes other software or faulty codecs may spoil the fun (see http://facetracknoir.sourceforge.net/Trackers/faceAPI.htm).
