Hi, i've bought FaceTrackNoIr, but i have a problem!
Everytime that i push "START" i see a little window of FaceAPI Tracker that closes immediately afterwards
Even when i try to open faceAPI from the folder, i see a window that load a menu, and than it closes
what i have to do? i tried to run like "administrator" , restarting PC but nothing
i use a GoPro hero 8

Maybe if faceAPI retrieves an error like that, it fails? Unfortunately that's not something that can be fixed in the code. Is there another webcam you can try?

You must understand that the faceAPI tracker is quite old and only works well with WDM compatible devices. Since the webcam utility also shows an error, that might suggest that the camera is not compatible OR that there is some driver issue.
Do you have the latest driver(s) installed?

If I set PointTracker1.1 , facetracknoir is almost working
the cam go ON, i see my face in black and white moving, but inside the game the camera is moving alone in a crazy mood
I'm still trying to use faceAPI, but without results

When you open the webcam utility of FaceTrackNoIR, what do you see?
Can you upload a screenshot?

And than if I click ok i see the webcam preview

Hello Dario,
OK, so faceAPI still does not work. For PointTracker you need a cap, with IR-leds. I have tested it with a modified PS3Eye and a DelanClip myself.
It costs a little bit more, but it allows you to play in the dark :-)
