Hi folks
I've just discovered this software and I'm pretty new to the concepts and capabilities so forgive me if I ask idiot questions...but here goes.
Will mouselook allow me to (for example) achieve a small degree of "look around" with a game that does not otherwise support any sort of tracking at all?
(Specifically World of Warplanes, which is old and requires a right mouse button hold for "free look" in game. I fly with joystick but being able to also free look with head gestures would be extremely useful.)
Is mouselook compatibile with any other tracking software/hardware systems?
Can I use this system (TrackNoIR/Mouselook) side by side with TracklR on the same PC?
(Not for use at same time, but are there any conflicts that occur if I have both software systems installed simultaneously? What sort of work arounds exist or could exist for this scenario?)

IMO there are no dumb questions:only dumb answers. I will try to give you a non-dumb one :)
The Mouselook protocol (in fact, all protocols) can be installed simultaneously. Only the selected protocol is used to relay the data to a game.
Mouselook actually emulates mouse-movements (the game will not be aware you are not manually moving it. It was indeed created to offer a possibility for games that do not support headtracking otherwise.

I'm a TrackIR user so already have some mouse emulation.
For my own use I might be interested in experimenting with other software options if there is better functionality but also I'm interested in this for some friends and community members that may be looking for something more open source/webcam based.
What do I need to know about conflicts with TrackIR and TrackNoIR if installed simultaneously on the same PC if I want to experiment for the purposes of putting together a tutorial or helping these friends and community members find their feet with the system?

Both programs have their own NPClient.dll, which is loaded by the game.
The game finds the correct one, by reading the Registry setting: Path in: Computer\HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\NaturalPoint\NaturalPoint\NPClient Location
FaceTrackNoIR updates this path, when started (with the FreeTrack protocol selected).

Do I have to start up FaceTrackNoIR AND choose my Game Protocol before starting the game? I've been trying to get it working with MudRunner, and was just stopping the scanner, then changing the Game Protocol, and then restarting the scanner again.

This sounds very promising.

I figured it out -- I hadn't configured Mouse Look settings
Thanks for the feedback :)
