I uploaded new (v0.18) source code for the fab@home application and a version 3 firmware has been uploaded, so there is now a firmware module.
The application is much improved in terms of operation with hardware - only crashes when the USB cable is unplugged while comms are live (as far as I can tell). The "simulator" feature is not working currently, but it was stupid anyway. The new code needs the new firmware, and vice-versa.
The firmware had a couple of bugs fixed - limit switches are filtered a bit, the "moving" flag is more reliably set, so the application doesn't hang waiting for a command to execute.
Please take a look, and you can download the exe of the application on the Fab@Home website.... read more
The source code for the Fab@Home application has finally been posted. Feel free to jump right in. Please report any problems or requests to firstname.lastname@example.org.
