#165 Does FAAD pass AL14 compliance vector?

Hello Group,

I am using faad 2.7 as aac lc decoder. I have compliance test suite from AL00-AL19.

I am not able to pass the AL14 which has DRC information. Output WAV file is not matching with compliance WAV vectors.

In particular, last frames (after frame#24) is giving incorrect data.

Does anyone knows about reason and solution of it?
Does DRC decoding is mandatory?
Why and When it should be used?

I am not much aware of what DRC does.

If i disable the DRC decoding (from drc.c), correct output is achieved.
