The new version, 1.0, is under coding. There are some changes, including recoding for J2SE 6 and the ezsubtitle package updating. And new features, likes GUI improving(icons, layouts, 3-language selecter for GUI), hokey for instant time setting while user playing the movie, and new functions to process subtitles. Also, to release source code and to make documentations.
However, I think it would take me a very long time to finish. Of course it is interesting, too. Good luck to myself, ha!
SRT Subtitle Agent 0.9 alpha2:
It improves the GUI more user-friendly, also adds loading and saving file encoding selection. Even though it is still not user-friendly enough, it is usesul for adjusting time much conveniently.
Java package "ezsubtitle" 0.5:
Provides simple subtitle interfaces for building subtitle classes, and a little utility APIs.
There is a typical problem on encoding the text of subtitle. Because the default charset is depending on the native machine. The current work is to program it more powerful, so that it can provide more user-friendly encoding functions.
Current work is a subtitile agent processing the simplest subtitle files, '.srt' files not including its style '.style' files. Although the beta version is still in programmed and can work now, it is not optimized and full tested. That is, some verifications, Java exceptions, and trickys are not taken care of. :p
