Hi
Tested on go daddy and cant get past first page were you would press next to enter database details... tested on a free host and gets as far as installing database but failes to go any further... ive checked database and tables have been created but for whatever reason the install script fails to move on to the next part which i believe would be creating a admin account. so im almost there with it.. so close.. could you help out. plan is once installed fully on free host to do a databse back up and restore that backup over on my go daddy server

    Hi!

I suppose it is a server side configuration issue. ezStats uses a lot of XMLHttpRequests, but as far as I know, GoDaddy blocks those requests. So you have to ask you website provider, if a block of XMLHttpRequests is enabled and how to disable it.

Thanks for the reply, but what about on the free host ? all i need is the installation to get past the next bit then i can back the database up and transfer/restore it, to the go daddy server were it should then work ?
    Thanks

go daddy from what i can tell is only blocking the install script, it is from what i can tell talking with there support is flagged as a security breach... ive manged to install ezSats3 on a free host... well as far as installing the database tables but then it fails to move on to creating a admin account.. if could just get past that bit then i could back up the database from the free host and transfer it to mysql database at go daddy.. were it should work with the rest of your files.. again from what i can tell from talking with go daddy support... only the index file within the install folder is flagged as a security breach.. all other files are reported as normal hence why i attempted install on a free server and to move that DB over to go daddy.

FreeHosts are difficult, so let the eyes on GoDaddy. Because of your description, that GoDaddy only blocks the index.php of the installation, I removed the telemetric code of the attached file, which could be the problem. Please upload the file and try it again.

the new index worked perfect on the free host but still no joy at go daddy... the only way i got it working at go daddy was to install on free host, download the sql file from tmp folder, back up database and then transer those files to go daddy, it now works perfect had zero problems.. great script just a shame go daddy are blocking the install.. for any one else with go daddy i recommend same steps.
