#525 console up or down changes visuals

I've had this issues for years. i dunno if it is my cfg or what it is:
here's a screenshot:

it happens when i pull console down or up, when i pull down, it seems some hud elelments go down as well, out of the screen.
see that black bar at the bottom in screenshot 11? that sometimes stays when i pull the console back up. so it appears when im playing normally also.
sucks.

it happens in all ezquake versions.

    Probably caused by various things aligned/placed to "console" (search for hud_*_align_* "console" or hud_*_place "top", etc and then elements aligned to these elements, and so on).

    ahh man,
    i looked into cfg, and there's these:
    hud_clock_align_y "console"
    hud_democlock_align_y "console"
    hud_score_bar_align_y "console"

    but i think the _real_ problem is this:
    alias consoleoff "viewsize 100;cl_gameclock 4;toggleconsole;bind ` consoleon"
    alias consoleon "viewsize 120;cl_gameclock 0;toggleconsole;bind ` consoleoff"
    damn, i feel dumb!
