The chat icons (afk/chat) above the player model is affected by GL_MAX_SIZE. They should be treated the same as object models that is not affected by GL_MAX_SIZE.
Strange, I've used a clean windows install, updated graphics drivers, clean ezquake install, ran ezquake.exe without any modified config, set gl_max_size 1, but chat icons are still affected and rendered flat like that walls.
