Hi,
I am trying ezingbuilder in my current development environment (i.e. Eclipse 3.3.x under FC7). The template designer does not seem to work. When loading an existing html page, it clears everything I previously have there in the page. In addition, the tool components can be dragged but won't stick in the designer page.
ezingbuilder is a very cool tool and I really like to use it for my development. Am I missing something in using the tool? Does it support FC7 and does it work with Eclipse 3.3 under FC7?
Are there any getStarted/tutorial resources? Can anyone point me to the right direction?
Thanks,
Jen

eZing looks really good...but I ran into a problem...
If I open up an existing html file in design view under eZing, it was
deleting all of the markup.
I end up with:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
> <html>
> <head>
> <title/>
> </head>
> <body>
> </body>
> </html>
I had a line like this in my code...that disappeared..
<!--span jwcid="@If" condition='ognl:test.foo.equals("bar")'-->
I deleted it and eZing stop deleting my html... I also removed the comments
and that worked as well..
I think the way that eZing parses comments containing single quotes may have
something to do with it...
Since tapestry has a mix and match of html, tapestry tags, and it's way of
rendering, I sure it's a complicated task.. Good work on the plugin..
Thanks
Brian

Could you like give me a picture for this problem? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Juan Hernandez said: When i have just installed EZingbuilder I've got a 'blank' Component Toolkit tab. There is only the title 'Component Toolkit' and nothing inside. The 'View Page in a New Window' button doesn't work either. The strangest thing is that I've got another good installation in other machine, and all works fine. Both of the installations are under Windows XP. Can anyone help me? Thanks. |
