We're receiving an error upon harvesting images on a PACS and viewing them that reads "read beyond end of file error".
We've been using this viewer as an ActiveX control in and application we're building for awhile now, and this is the first time this has come up. The only thing we can think of is that the PACS we're pulling files from does not seem to be supplying Pixel Data Length (74E0,0000) in the header. Could this be the issue? Is this a required field? I'm finding mixed answers to that question in some sources -- it seems that the Dicom standard may be slowly retiring this field, and validators don't seem to complain about its absense...
Thanks for any insight!
