A small update to EzChatbox this month, also a setup guide has been added to the docManager. Anyone having problems installing please refer to this. Thanks

After a small delay the release of <a href="http://ezchatbox.sourceforge.net">EzChatBox</a> v1 has finally come about. New features are the pop-up smiley window and ability to change the text with css. The demo has also been updated so you can test the chat prog before you download it.

After nearly a month of testing the Alpha release, the beta has been released. Only a couple of changes, the refresh time on the upload page has been added to the config file for manual configuration. A smilie sheet has been added so people can use the smilies more effectively. A few more planned updates are in the changelog, once complete version 1 should be available for download. Many thanks all those who tested and gave feedback.

I have just finished the main coding for the Alpha release of EzChatBox. I just need to add the administration interface and then it will be availalble for download. I have just uploaded a sample of the chatbox to my Sourceforge homepage http://ezchatbox.sourceforge.net/ this is the Pre Alpha version that needs testing by you guys. I still need to write the config file and installation notes but once that's complete the Alpha version will be ready for launch.

The EZChatbox site has been launched here on Sourceforge.net. http://ezchatbox.sourceforge.net/ The site will include a version of the chatbox for you to test in the very near future.

Hi, I've just started coding a chat system that will be easy enough for anybody to use without the need of a database. The chat data is stored in a txt file on the server, the admin has the ability to ban people by IP address and can edit posts from users. Smilies are also included and a future version will have the ability to add your own smilies. Keep checking back for a alpha release of the script.
