#4 parsing xml and general questions

I also get this error linking from "title" on the album
collection page:

Warning: fopen("", "r") - No error in C:\Program
Files\Apache\Apache2

could not open XML input : []

my collection.xml looks like this:
<collection>
<album>
<source>http://localhost:8080/leitning/albums/album/
album.xml</source>
</album>
</collection>

there's no $file defined anywhere?...

also, can you be more specifc about how to notate
pathnames...there's some code that plays with
backslash and forward slash...

thanks for the learning experience and code, but you
don't explain to us newbies how to make it work very
clearly.
the documentation page is clear for the first part.
then the directions become very vague, like directory
set-up, where to put regular sized images, what to
title and what kind of files to save the album
description files as, where to look in other pages for
file names.
