#2 mass alter mp3 tag "cover type"

I'm looking for a solution to alter the tag "cover type" to value 0x03 on a huge bunch of mp3 files (well tagged i thought by now), which most of them do already contain an embedded cover image, but often with the type "Other/0x00", resulting in not being recognized by the recently setup volumio on mpd.
Something like
<some binary=""> --if-cover-present --change-cover-type "0x03"(Cover Front) ./*.mp3
Unfortunately the taggers i already tried do not have an option for this tag.
Is this possible with eye3D?</some>
