I have extracted the audio and put it into OGG format for mod use. It can be added via the steps here:

Yet when I play it using the latest Exult build 2018-07-30 the playback is distorted with artifacts. It seems the default Audio Sample Rate of 22100 is too low. The same file plays fine at 44100 and 48000 rates.
Would it be possible to have Exult use the highest rate by default?
Status Bars and Alternative Drag'n'Drop would also be recommended for on-by-default.
