Exult is now triggering the "danger" music correctly, which is great. And if the user enters combat mode while in "danger" status, it transitions to "combat" music, which is correct. However, if a monster manages to get in range and take a swing at a party member while in "danger" status, that should also cause the transition to combat music, even if the user never enters combat mode and is just trying to run away.
