Totally understand the preference for portable, installer-free versions—keeping Windows clean makes a big difference. Hopefully a ZIP or standalone build becomes available again for quick setup. Issues like host key algorithms can be frustrating when updates change formats. In the meantime, you can take a quick break with x 555 game while waiting for a solution.

Hi, Like all program that I use, I use the ones that have no Installation EXE or MSI. I keep my Windows clean. Last time I was here, I got ExtraPuTTY-0.28.zip Unarchived in to a folder, shortcut, boom! SSH connection. I now have a "Couldn't agree a host key algorithm..." so first thing get latest. **Whot! No "Installerless" ? ** What are you doing ?
