Who will take care about release? If you like, I can do it, or if Stefan wants ...?. What we should do/test/check before release? pavel -----Original Message----- From: ext...@li... Hi guys, Today I had more time to work on an additional TCurvedLink which uses a differnet algorithm to curve the line. In this work I discovered that the Bezier is not behaving as it should. It works based upon the corners, changing the corners should also change the StartPt and EndPt, yet it doesn't. So please hold you horses while I'm trying to fix this bit. (It also requires minor changes to the baseclasses.) I'll be back soon... Marco. |

Hi Stefan, My thoughts about the multiline link are roughly the same. I'm unsure about how to implement the points externally. As you may see the basic Link class now has some support for multiple points. I think this needs more work allowing to AddPoints and DeletePoints, this would greatly enhance user experience. I've build similar code in the previous graphic libary we're currently using and have build routing capabilities externally which simply uses the multi-point fnctionality to route the link itself. Perhaps guys could send me some code on this. Can you for instance manually override routed links? Marco. |

Hi guys, =20 Way to go Marco! I haven't had much (read: none at all) time due to = work, but I'll have a couple days rest after this week (I sure do hope). = I've downloaded the DelForExp program and I'll format all my future code = with the standard VCL formatting. Hi guys, Just an in between tasks remark. I'm using a source beautifier, DelForExp (http://www.dow.wau.nl/aew/DelForExp.html) to automatically format the source code. This can be configured as desired. If you're interested in this, you could download it yourselves. I have a configuration available which resembled the Borland code style as found in the VCL. We could all use the same settings and have a uniformly source code formatting... Regards, Marco. |

My understanding of svg usage is broader than just file format. Idea is to enhance capabilities of simplegraph, while simplifying the code. First problem is how to achieve different shapes using the same object. I am afraid that it cannot be done by enhancing current objects. Solution is currently based on processing svg in the form of xml dom. This way you can achieve several features: - shapes can be user defined and even graphic libraries can be easily implemented (for example uml diagram shapes) - because svg is used, already existing public sources can be used - because svg is more and more supported, resulting graph can be directly published to web - while drawing is directly based on xml dom interpretation and this xml dom can be changed by underlying engine, you get dynamic behavior in graph IMHO simplification should go in the way of deprecation of specific objects (TrectacularNode, Tellipse ...). In the end we should end with TSVGNode and TLinkNode (maybe straight and Bezier). Pavel -----Original Message----- From: ext...@li... Pavel, Since you're the first merging developer at this moment, perhaps you can find some space and time to insert this routine. It's been posted earlier in an email to Stefan (I think), and has been extended a little so that if a node is scrolled to the right or bottom the scrollbars move with it, keeping it visible. The same goes for dragging it to the top or left, than it moves all other controls to the bottom right... Marco. There you go: procedure TSimpleGraph.DoCanMoveResizeNode(Node: TGraphNode; var aLeft, aTop, aWidth, aHeight: Integer; var CanMove, CanResize: Boolean); var i: integer; Delta: TPoint; R: TRect; begin if FreezeTopLeft then begin if aLeft < 0 then aLeft := 0; if aTop < 0 then aTop := 0; end else begin { MeW: scroll other nodes to the bottom right if a node is scrolled beyond the topleft } if (aLeft < Left) or (aTop < Top) then begin Delta := Point(0,0); if (aLeft < Left) then Delta.X := -aLeft; if (aTop < Top) then Delta.Y := -aTop; BeginUpdate; try for i:=0 to ObjectsCount-1 do begin if (not Objects.Items[i].Selected) and (Objects.Items[i] <> Node) and (TGraphNodeExt(Objects.Items[i]).Parent = nil) then begin R := Objects[i].BoundsRect; OffsetRect(R, Delta.X, Delta.Y); Objects[i].BoundsRect := R; end; end; if (aLeft < Left) then aLeft := 0; if (aTop < Top) then aTop := 0; finally EndUpdate; end; end; { MeW: scroll right and/or bottom if required } if (aLeft + Width > VisibleBounds.Right) or (aTop + Height > VisibleBounds.Bottom) then ScrollInView(Node); end; if Assigned(OnCanMoveResizeNode) then OnCanMoveResizeNode(Self, Node, aLeft, aTop, aWidth, aHeight, CanMove, CanResize); end; |
