#1 Helios install issues
I copied the com.leucht.eclipse.externaldiff_0.1.1 directory to my helios plugins directory. After restarting eclipse there is no externaldiff option showing in preferences under general or anywhere else.
Is anyone using this with Helios or no another way to configure an external diff tool like winmerge?

Same issue with me. I copied plugin folder to my helios plugin directory. and started eclipse with -clean option. it is not showing in preference or anywhere.
I use heilos and it run well.
To see if you really have installed it, see if it is under Plug-ins tab in help/About Eclipse -> Installation details.
The preferences are under General/Compare/External tool just below Appearance or search for "Compare/external".
And I wasn't used -clean option.
