Extend-A-Story version 2.0.0 (first public release) released

Extend-A-Story is an interactive, extendable, choose your own adventure story. Version 2 is a complete re-write of Extend-A-Story from its original ASP / MS Access origins to PHP / MySQL.

Extend-A-Story has been in active use ever since February, 1999 starting with the story, The Never Ending Quest. Since that time, over 8000 episodes have been written. The first version was written in ASP going against a MS Access database. Since then, several features and enhancements were added.

Version 2 represents a complete re-write of Extend-A-Story using PHP going against a MySQL database. All of the original Version 1 features were included in Version 2, including some very useful additional features for authors of the story.
