[ext2resize] New release of ext2resize?

Is there a new release of ext2resize planned anytime soon?  Will it
fix the problem with ext2prepare reported on
<URL:http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?src=ext2resize>?  If
so, are the patches to fix it available from somewhere?
