[ext2resize] Future of ext2/3 online resize

Hi Andreas,

maybe I'm the last user of ext2/3 online resize stuff out there.
But I depend on that functionality (root-fs on LVM) and wonder what
the planes for the future are.
There was an announcement that ext2/3 online resize will be in 2.6.x,
but was later dropped. And the patches at sf.net are quite old. The
ext3-patch for 2.5.44 does not apply halfway clean to 2.6.0. And the
ext2-patch is never updated to 2.5.x.
Because of my very litte knowledge in 2.5.x fs stuff, I have not tried
to port the resize code myself.
