Hi, What are the plans for this project? I'm on Redhat 9 using LVM and ext3 filesystems, and it looks like ext2resize was dropped from Redhat sometime during the 7.x series. The thing is, I haven't found any effective replacement that can resize mounted ext3 filesystems. One of the most useful features of LVM is its ability to manipulate the size of devices while they are mounted. Are there plans to officially support ext3? Is there another project I'm unaware of that already allows resizing of mounted ext3 filesystems? Or is it time to look at some other filesystem that already has that support, such as reiser or xfs? Thanks, Per |
