how the group develops.  

On a related topic, I have been working on xml config files.  the
files are just clumps of xml messages calling function handlers
in your local worldOS node.  after the third or fourth one it
became clear that I was clumsily writing a program in xml.  ...so
the idea of an xml language is not uncool by any means.
