So how do I use the plug-in?

Well first you have to install the plug-in following the simple instructions in the README. In order to use the plug-in please open the example configuration file "icons.esl.conf". The syntax is pretty simple.

• The outer most set of parentheses surrounds one or more layer selections.
• Inside the layer selections you will find lists of layer names. Use the names you define in GIMP
• The second part of a layer selection is the name of the file that shall be generated from the selection

Note: Currently only uncompressed PNG export is supported.
