Ugh, version mixup.  The method is called just 'slave'.

Please download the latest beta versions
(IO-Tty v0.97_01 and Expect v1.13_06) that I will upload to CPAN
tomorrow.  No, forget that, I will send them via e-mail tomorrow.

These latest versions contain enhancements that deal with
setting the pty to raw and have corrected docs.
