I recently download the the expect521 win32 from sourceforge and I'm trying to load it on my PC running windows XP  with ActiveState TCL 8.3.4.3.

After unzipping the files, I copied the directory exp5.21\lib (and all files under it) to c:\tcl\lib.  I also copied the one file (slavedrv.exe) under the bin directory and put it int c:\tcl\bin (note, I copied the latest slavedrv.exe file).  I also put a copy of expect52.dll in the c:\tcl\bin directory.

When I issue the package require Expect command, I get the following error:

    C:\Tcl\bin>tclsh83
    % package require Expect
couldn't load library "C:\Tcl\lib\exp5.21\expect52.dll": this library or a dependent library could not be found in library path
    %

Am I setting this up correctly??
    Is this suppose to work???

    Thanks

I had the same exact problem. It doesn't seem that it's supposed to work from what i've read.

I'm having issues with the same install.
Is there a place/area that demonstrate how to install this for Windows (XP)?

      Sure would be helpful.
