I'm seeing a core dump from the latest cvs (5.44.1.10) when doing matches with the -ex (exact match) flag. The
following program demonstrates the problem:

$ cat ./tst1.exp
spawn -noecho ftp
expect -ex "ftp>"
send "pwd\r"
expect -ex "ftp>"
send "pwd\r"
expect -ex "ftp>"

$ ./expect -version
expect version 5.44.1.10

$ ./expect tst1.exp
ftp> pwd
Not connected.
ftp> Memory fault

We don't see this with 5.41 or 5.43.

    I have a report of a similar bug, possibly the same, with analysis and patch, from a different source.
    What platform are you on ?
    The other report is for solaris and linux.

    Petr, I failed to contact you through your SF id as email address.
    Please contact me at andreask/activestate-com (slightly obfuscated)
    if you wish to have an ActiveTcl build there this problem should be fixed.
