Exmh 2.6.1 released

There were several "issues" with 2.6 release on 2/9/2003, so if you
managed to find that one, please pull down this newer release.
At the moment, the source forge site is unavailable for maintenance,
so the only copy of the bits are at

The main new feature is generalized sequence handling, contributed
by Chris Garrigues (thanks!). This replaces the little "unseen"
window with a "sequences" window, and adds a Sequence menu. If you
want something more than the "unseen" and "urgent" sequence to show up,
you need to add to the *sequences resource, and define corresponding
sequence_whatever resource to contain color attributes. Take a look
at app-defaults-colors for examples. This also changes the way
the color resources are set for the folder table of contents (ftoc) window.

Another new feature is the ability to have the number of unseen messages
displayed in the folder cache. Set under Folder Cache preferences.
Contributed by Paul Menage.

I have also started a "wiki" for exmh, which is visible at
This is a site that *you* can contribute to. There are already some
good sections developing on spam filtering and other fun things
you can do with exmh.

There are also lots and lots of bug fixes and minor enhancements.
It has been such a long time since the last tarball release, for
which I apologize. Please read through exmh.CHANGES for details.
