Someone told me in this forum to run the bin\startup from the command line. Soi I did. I received the following message. The message says cannot run program.c:ProgramFiles\Java\jdk-11\bin\javaw.exe in directory c:Users\TedHickox\Documents\eXist create process error = 206 The filename or extension is too long. The stackflow article that someone in this group sent to me discusses Java classes and Java objects. I barely comprehend either term. I've never programmed in Java even though I have programmed in Javascript for years. So I had a tough time reading the stackflow article. So I didn't obtain very much useful information from the stackflow article.
