[Exist-open] Backup and restore

Quick question about backup and restore. I'm using the backup.sh and the non gui client to backup/restore from one machine to another. When I do the restore, I don't think that I'm doing a re-index of the /db subdirectories. Is that a correct assumption? If so, is there a way to kick off the reindex through the non-gui client? I'm running 4.1.0 on a linux platform
