Ok,

I restored the old functions, and marked them deprecated. So for 2.0 we have:

math:  
http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions/math
The formal xquery3 specified functions


math-ext: 
http://exist-db.org/xquery/math
The 'old' exist-db function set, a wrapper around Java's Math class.

There is quite some overlap, but some functions are not in the formal xquery3 spec, and then power() function has been renamed to pow().
