Joe, I am doing production sites, so I cannot upgrade to the trunk. There are ways to work around this (keeping an HTTP port open but protected by the load balancer or firewall), but I would love to have these same tasks available over HTTPS. I can imagine its not easy to back-port! Do you even know the classes where the work would be done? Can you comment if it would be changes to the org.exist.ant classes, or are there changes that need to be made to the XMLRPC core that are more difficult?
