[Exist-development] regarding backup functionality in exist

  i wanted to know how does exist stores xml files in the database.I mean when we add xml files to exist database where do they get stored within the exist folder.
  Sir we had created a client gui using xml dbi but we are not able to provide backup functionality.can you throw some light how can we provide backup functionality to the database.
