Ah okay, so regards testing you are referring to the platform! Well
ideally in the Java world of course we hope that this is not an issue,
unfortunately though we have seen that this can indeed be an issue,
especially with I/O and Synchroisation etc.

Well I guess we each so far predominantly test on our own platforms,
the core team tends to be split between both Mac and Linux. However we
do also use TeamCity which runs on Debian Linux -

I guess there is a lack of developers on Windows in the core team, but
that many of our users are on Windows based platforms.

No not at all, the focus is both users and devs.

Well as I mentioned we are using TeamCity which has agents that can be
deployed on other platforms, I am not familiar with BuildBot but it
sounds interesting. Perhaps you could talk about this briefly in
Prague, do you have any knowledge of TeamCity to contrast it with?
