Hello Dannes, may I reply: the new implementation is a progress, as I 
have not got much of anything going with the old one, not even on ms 
windows.

this milton time linux davfs2 can read binary resources. but  not xml 
resources. trying to save a document results in the LOCK exception in 
the server.

attached protocol of three actions, read binary file, read xml file, 
create file.
