This is not nessecarily the case /db/system/config - contains
configuration data. As far as I am aware there is now nothing else in
/db/system. There did used to be data in /db/system/temp in the form
of persisted in-memory fragments.

I suspect this could be achieved via the http module. I would
certainly like to see this application developed to use the http rest
protocol of eXist.
