Does anyone know how to speed up xmldb:defragment?
I've had it running for two days on a document that was created through the
XQuery update extensions, and I'm just wondering if it has the tendency to get
stuck, or if there is anything I can do to speed things up, like dropping the
index, or allocating more memory to something in conf.xml?
Right now, dom.dbx has 96/96 used in the btree, and 255/256 data used, and
elements.dbx has 377/378 of data used with 6846/106 in the fails category.
Of 1.5GB is allocated to the VM, 226MB is being used.
One core is at 100%, but there's hardly any I/O activity at all.
Has anyone else experience with this feature?
