How to add an additional attribute into a tag?

Hi,

Currently, I am using this library for encoding my XML files against schema.
When I encoding, my option header is :

<header><common><schemaId>S123</schemaId></common></header>

In my option header, I want add one attribute into header tag, as below:

<header xmlns="http://w3c.org"><common><schemaId>S123</schemaId></common></header>

Can anybody reply me how to add additional attribute to an tag?
