DSN is now supported as standard in Exim based on this patch. however, some functionality was removed (dsn_process) so this patch is now primarily concerned with putting that functionality back into the package.
Why you say ?
It's simple, if you use unseen routers for archiving then you do not want that to generate a DSN, you want the normal path to be used Ie. if supported by the next hop then passed on, or generate a DSN now.

src/EDITME was not currecty updated This has now been fixed and applied to 4.52, 4.60, 4.62 & 4.63 trees.
Some issued prevented the eximon utility from compiling. This has now been fixed and applied to 4.52 & 4.60 tree.
Ok, it's not really a document more of an example of how to make the DSN work and what it should look like.
DSN's will now be produced for local deliveries - indeed they should now work for any router that does not use an smtp transport (mailing list expansion etc).
