Hey, David! I still make use of 32 bit systems in my household, like my Acer AspireOne netbook. Will there be a 32 bit version of Beuwolf, or is ASCII the last 32 build for the distro? Exe is very fast and responsive on my older netbooks.

I recently posted a review on my blog about my Exe experience. If anyone is interested in reading it, you can find it HERE

    -David.

Thanks very much David for you interest and excellent review. A 32-bit Beowulf version has been built already, just waiting to test and upload. I run this project single-handed only as and when I can find the time!

Thanks for your reply, David. Much appreciated! I guessed that you were the sole developer of Exe. You're doing a great job and I wanted to do what I could to bring more attention to the project.

I installed 32-bit ASCII and then just did a system upgrade after that, which went perfectly. I now have the latest version of TDE on my system. So, I'm quite happy.

    Buenos dias Carlos..

Please check for the correct and current devuan url in your /etc/apt/sources.list

    http://deb.devuan.org/merged

and do apt update in a root shell

If that does not solve the problem please post the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list then I will inspect it..

    Regards,
    D

Among the errors that I have found in the 32-bit gnu linux exe is that it takes exactly time to start the system, one minute and 45 seconds from there the cell phone connection does not take, and the large use of the cpu / processor and ram, those are the errors that I have found I beg you please help me with that please.

when starting the 32-bit gnu linux exe system from the 16 september 2020 update it comes out that /boot/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod not found.
in the new update of 32-bit gnu linux exe the laptop gets very hot and the wicd network manager does not open to connect to wifi and it takes one minute and 45 seconds to start, I recommend that the system startup time be less .

    Please help me
as it is the most favorite Linux distro

    good morning everyone
gtk straw viewer v.0.0.5.1 no longer searches for videos
It would be good to update it to the latest version which is 0.0.9
    regards

    good afternoon greetings
What happens is that since the last 32-bit update of September, the usb flash drives do not open and the phone storage is not loaded, I also do not know if the gtk straw viewer repository could be added since it was already updated to the v 0.1.3 and the one that is now in the system is 0.1.0
Also the problem is that palemoon is very slow, I don't know if it could be replaced by midori, the version that comes out right now, which is 1.1.5
And I don't know if there was the possibility of replacing the 4.19 kernel with the 5.8 one that comes already compiled since I have that kernel installed and it helps a little more performance and also helps in saving the battery and it does not overheat much like 4.19 kernels
I would appreciate very much these are the errors that I have found in this current version of 32 bits, otherwise it is very good
    Thanks for your attention
    I await your prompt reply

good morning what I have also seen an error is that when zoom is used for virtual classes the image collapses and the computer becomes slow it would be better if for the other update it is already installed by default
    greetings David

Zoom is not released under the GPL and cannot be automatically included in Linux... not legally anyway. It's up to you to obtain and install your own copy of this software. It's not up to the EXE dev team to provide it for you. I'd rather not have it on my system anyway.

good morning another error that I found is the mic and mic boost that does not work it would be good instead of continuing with alsa delete it and replace it with pulse audio that is more sophisticated and drives the volume much better
    greetings David

If I'm not mistaken, PulseAudio is a front end (server) for ALSA not a replacement. You still need ALSA on Linux. if you like PulseAudio, you can just install it, or uses apulse, which is a partial implementation of PulseAudio. For someone like me who doesn't need the bloat, keeping PulseAudio out of EXE is appreciated.

What does this have to do with EXE, exactly?
