    Opening an excel file to view it

    · Go to File -> Open (Ctrl+O)

    You can also use keyboard shortcut of Control + O to open excel file to view it as well.
    You can also drag and drop the excel file in the middle of the application to open it.
    You can also use "Open With.." action of your file and choose ExcelViewer.exe to open the file for viewing purposes.

    Saving an excel file

    · Go to File -> Save As (Ctrl+S)

    At the moment you can only save the original excel file (without edits) to a different location on connected drives/hard disks or in the same folder where the original file is located.
    You can edit and save CSV (Comma separated) and TXT (Tab separated) as normal.

    Error reading excel files

    You need to install 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components (free) or Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable (free) installed on the system already or else you can not view any excel file. Either of these can be downloaded from Microsoft directly free of cost from here:
