Hi Eric, I know this is a work in progress, but I'm confused about which is the latest release of Version 2, and where to download it.

If we want the latest compiled working version (rather than source code), should we download from here or Github?

The download from here is named 2.0, but I have in my download folder a 2.01 version, not sure where I downloaded that from (downloaded on 25 July).

Also where is the best place for documentation, and is this still the best place to leave questions/comments?

    Hi Doug,

yes sorry about that - I have been off for 3 weeks, and just before leaving I was developing quite a lot of new features and in my hurry to put them up I may have made a bit of a mess.

Generally speaking the GitHub site is the 'official' site for ExcelPython, and the compiled versions are in the Releases section.

The documentation is in the docs folder in the source repository, and you can post questions in the issues section.

However I will continue to maintain the sourceforge site because it seems to attract some traffic and some people seem to prefer it. So really whether you go through sf or on GitHub is immaterial. Possibly sf will be out-of-date at times.

The documentation for v2 is still a bit lacking unfortunately, plus I am thinking of making it backward compatible with v1, hopefully will be posting an incremental release shortly.

In the mean time please don't hesitate ask questions or comment!

    Eric.
