IE and tgz extension

Please note that IE on Windows may convert the tgz extension to gz. The extension has to be corrected back to tgz, otherwise the archiving software will not know that the file is a tar file.

eXcavator 1.0.6 Released

eXcavator 1.0.6 continues the ongoing project to
extend and improve the the ability of eXcavator to query XML documents and to create formatted text
from the results of queries.

The goal is to create a package which gives PHP
developers a class that offers a facility like
XQuery that can be run from within PHP itself.

eXcavator 1.0.2 Released

eXcavator 1.0.2 adds enhanced capabilities to the _AND_ and _OR_ operators. These, taken together with the enhancements in release 1.0.1, give eXcavator and therefore PHP a strong XQuery-like facility to query XML documents and databases. eXcavator 1.0.1 Released

eXcavator is an XML query processing class for PHP that provides PHP with an XQuery-like facility for querying XML files. It uses a small query language analgous to Xpath and returns query results in formats suitable for text and html. It will format results with user-defined templates for all text-based output.

eXcavator is part of the XML_PullParser project at http:www.mturner.org/XML_PullParser/
