Excalibur 1.2.8 released

Another version of the not-so-famous Radar program for Dark Age of Camelot. This is a must-have fix for people running DAoC 1.62, contains the protocol fixes to work with the new server as well as:
-- Much improved rendering performance due to optimized math routines and logic reorganization.
-- Stealthed players gray out when they stealth.
-- Updated OS X and BSD sniffer to fix fragmentation problems.
-- Some minor bug fixes.

Excalibur 1.2.7 and CamelotChatRT 0.4 Release

Excalibur has had alot of work done under the hood since 1.2.6:
-- Fixes to prevent multiple windows on people using SNAT (--exclude-local)
-- Merchant type output to --mobseen
-- Huge performance gains due to removing of reliance on Z-Buffer
-- Fixes to segfaults as you log in to DAoC
-- Living / Dead numbers now shown for mob / player count indicator
-- Fixed excalibur Invader Beeping when you scrolled through the mob list
-- Fixed compilation issues under gcc-3.2
-- Faster rendering when mob filter is off
-- Display of class names for invaders wearing epic armor
-- Removed X, Y, Z from moblist for performance reasons
-- Support for 8 character slots

Basic ugly web site now open

Well, I've decided to finally remove the bounce page and maybe put together a little web site for Excalibur. It's pretty basic and ugly, but it's got some screen shots of you're into that kinda stuff. Check it out at http://excalibar.sourceforge.net/

Excalibur 1.2.6 released

Alot of good features and bug fixes in this one. Performance improvements to depthfaded rendering! Fixed the problems with con colors around the border areas (everthing should con correctly now!). Added a count of middies, albies, and hippies so you can see if your relic raid is going to get owned! Fixed rotation in Tir na Nog!

Excalibur 1.2.4 released

Sorry folks, I broke the aggro circles. They were always yellow. This release fixes that, and enables backface culling. You should see a significant performance increase versus 1.2.3

Excalibur 1.2.3 released

This version includes many performance enhancements to the drawing routines, as well as less segmentation faults. Of course, there are a few new features thrown in for good measure.

Excalibur 1.2.2b is being stabalized - 1.3.0 (on the way)

Excalibur 1.2.2b (current CVS) is being stabalized at the moment, with the hopes of a tarball candidate soon.. Once this state is reached, I will begin the delicate taks of merging 1.3.0 into the current CVS tree..

We're still going strong, though our Source Forge activity rating is unusually low right now (normally 99%+) <grins>

Excalibur 1.1.1 tarball released! 1.1.2 is in the CVS tree

Excalibur 1.1.1 is in the CVS tree and semi-stabalized.

1.1.1 is a major evolution in Excalibur, it marks the final departure from Odin's Eye source code into uniquely Excalibur.

Now that we have familiarized ourselves with Slicer's work a great deal better, we will begin pumping out more and more useful features.. What you've seen so far is merely the beginning!

Excalibur 1.0.7 has been tarballed!

As with 1.0.5a, 1.0.7 is not up to my normal stabalization rules for tarballs, however, it fixes a serious security issue present from 1.0.4+.

It also adds support for FreeBSD!

Excalibur 1.0.5a has been tarballed!

Excalibur 1.0.5a is now released as a tarball.
While this code has NOT been stabalized for any great length of time, it's more stable than 1.0.5, and has about 500 more features than 1.0.0.

An upgrade is HIGHLY suggested.

Excalibur started..

Excalibur has been started!

Excalibur is an open source version of Odin's Eye.. Anyone is welcome to join the project as a developer, you just need to send myself an E-Mail.
