eXaro team is proud to announce the immediate availability of eXaro 2.0 (the newest major stable version).

In this version we made the following changes:

* add LGPL v3 license
* switch to cmake build system
* add charts
* add undo/redo
* add open/save items
* rewrite the paint engine, now eXaro is >40x faster.
* make gui more pretty
* Debian sid/(8)Ubuntu 9.04 packages (http://debian.licentia.eu/)
* items selection is more pretty
* add a formula item.
* add a wizard. Now report can be generated very fast and easy.
* eXaro designer can now load helper toolbar plugins. eXaro now came with a font toolbar, which help you to set fonts more easy.
* eXaro designer is now bullet-proof. From now on, no one and nothing will crash eXaro. All runtime errors (/ by 0, segfaults, etc.) are now transformed in exceptions.
* on linux show backtrace symbols.
* update the barcode plugin, now it's require zint v2.2+.
* Arabic, French and Italian translations.
* and many bugfixes.

Starting today (02-02-2009) eXaro libs and plugins (from trunk, see:http://code.google.com/p/exaro/source/detail?r=88) are licensed under GPL and LGPL v3. You can choose LGPL if you want to make a close-source project.

Warning: If you choose LGPL license barcode plugin will not be compiled because barcode plugin depends on zint library which is GPL.
