Erik's Window Manager / News: Recent posts

I'm going to split my window manager in 2 pieces. Most of the current code I've written will be used in a new project: Erik's Window Manager Toolkit, basically a java API for easy window managing tasks. I'm also going to write a new program (=eWM) which is a window manager that uses my toolkit and will eventually be hosted on this page, my original idea in other words.

Any code in the CVS for now is actually eWMT.

eWM is under active developement. Progress is slow due incomplete escher X11 lib functionality and (horrible) jdk awt/x implementation. If you have experience with low level X server calls or if you are eager to learn, you can always send me an email.
